This video clip from the 22nd April 2009 shows Alan, removing graffiti from the handrail of Tower Bridge. A plastic sheet below the handrail prevents the shavings from entering the Thames.
Following the successful completion of the first two stages of the project the Tower Bridge Exhibition Ticket Office located in the North West Tower has now re-opened, with guests able to access the high level Walkways via lift.
Work on the final stage of the renovation project is due to start in spring 2010. Further information will follow.
